1. Today is actually my birthday! I’m now 26 and I have a few gray hairs coming in (ugh). I feel like time keeps moving faster and faster.
  2. I graduated from Siena’s rival, Marist College, in 2019. My degree is hanging proudly on my office wall (blasphemy, I know) but I promise my loyalty is with Siena.
  3. I spent my freshman year at Marist living abroad in Florence, Italy. It was one of the most incredible experiences in my life, and I was able to travel to a dozen different countries during my time abroad.
  4. I actually collected an ornament from each city and country I visited in Europe. My parents had to bring an empty suitcase just to get them all home and they now decorate my tree each Christmas.
  5. I spent a few summers during college working as a park ranger under the New York State Park Police. I worked at Schodack Island State Park and would also help out at the Saratoga Spa State Park directing traffic during concert season. It was a great experience aside from the ranger pants, which were brutal to walk around in on a hot summer day.
  6. Before joining Siena, I worked at NewsChannel 13 in Albany. I started as the morning traffic reporter right out of college and worked my way up to morning reporter/weekend morning anchor by the end of my time there. I had to be to work by 3:30 a.m. which required me to be up around 1:45 a.m. to do my hair and makeup. I’m grateful for the many experiences I had, but I do not miss waking up that early!
  7. I’ve been with my boyfriend, Owen, for five years. We met during our junior year of college. I had a major crush on him and everyone in our history program knew it. On the first day of one of our classes, all of my classmates saved an open spot next to me knowing he would walk in at the last-minute and it would be the only seat left. The rest is history, and I feel so lucky to be dating my best friend!
  8. I’m obsessed with weddings and have a bit of a 27 Dresses situation going on. I have now attended more than a dozen weddings and I have been in the bridal party for almost half of them. I love watching the bride and groom on one of the happiest days of their lives.
  9. As someone who loves to plan events, I’ve naturally started planning my own wedding. I attended the bridal expo in Albany this past winter for reconnaissance purposes, lol.
  10. I have several family members (both close and extended) who suffer from alcoholism and the past few years have been really tough for me and my family. I share this because I want anyone who is going through something similar to know they aren’t alone and my door is always open if you want to talk.

P.S. If you see a Nissan Rogue that’s parked terribly in the parking lot, I’m sorry. Parking is not my strong suit.
