1. I have a "giant" miniature poodle named Rascal. Seriously, despite being in the miniature category, he’s in the 99th percentile for size.
  2. I am from Fishkill, New York, which briefly served as the state capital during the American Revolution when the Fourth Provincial Congress met there in 1776.
  3. I have a son (Thomas) and daughter (Shannon) who have beaten me in the Troy Turkey Trot for 5 consecutive years.
  4. In 2008, I rode every operating ride at Magic Kingdom in a single day, a feat many experts deem impossible. However, it’s achievable on a rainy, 34-degree February day with shorter lines.
  5. Completing 20 pull-ups without stopping is #11 on my bucket list.
  6. Reading the 2,500-page version of The Gulag Archipelago is #12 on my bucket list.
  7. Going to prison is #10 on my bucket list. I’m drawn to minimalistic rooms and cafeteria food. And, it might provide the free time to achieve bucket list items #11 and #12.
  8. Owning a red panda as a pet is #4 on my bucket list. Unfortunately, importing a red panda is illegal in the United States, though attempting it might help me achieve bucket list item #10.
  9. Since 2021, I have rowed 10,780,510 meters.
  10. Each time I attempt to import a red panda, I fail, which I believe proves I’m an NPC (Non-Player Character) without free will in a computer simulation. My programming seems limited to teaching, grading, rowing, and trying to be likable.
