- I have a three-year-old son named Ben, who is obsessed with Spider-Man. He’s hands down one of the funniest and cutest kids - though, to be fair, I am his mom, so I am a bit biased.
- In 2012, I took a stand-up comedy class through a continuing education program. The course ended with us having to do a live eight-minute comedy set at a bar in Albany. It was easily one of the most terrifying and exhilarating things I’ve ever done.
- In 2015, I decided to take up fencing. I was watching a lot of Game of Thrones at that time, and thought it would be a cool skill to learn. It turns out fencing is way less dramatic than Westeros.
- My husband Jeff is a web developer, and we met in 2019. We went through the full COVID trifecta - got married, bought a house, and had a baby - all during the pandemic. Talk about character development.
- I have three sisters and a gaggle of nieces and nephews. I love spending time with my family!
- I’m a huge podcast junkie - trivia, true crime, storytelling, random history deep dives, etc. If you’ve got a favorite, send it my way!
- Nature is my happy place. Last summer, my son and I hiked all 23 trails/preserves in the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy.
- I’m also a proud 2006 Siena alum! I love telling current students what Siena was like “back in my day.” I still remember when Siena first got Facebook , and having finals in the MAC. Ahh… simpler times.
- Our family also includes a dog named Rio, whose main hobbies are eating things he shouldn’t (sticks, grass, chocolate, etc) and keeping our vet in business.
- I also love to travel! My last big trip was to Qatar to visit my younger sister, who was teaching abroad! Next summer we hope to travel to watch a World Cup game here or there!
