- My journey has been shaped by curiosity, adventure, and a passion for helping others discover what's possible. I attended Assumption University and received a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Psychology. I played Division II Lacrosse, and also spent a semester at Manhattan University, interning at Dateline NBC. I envisioned a career as a news reporter. However, after moving to Manhattan, I accepted a marketing role at a hedge fund which set me on a different professional path.
- My love for travel began my junior year in college while studying abroad in London. Since then, I have visited 38 countries and developed an appreciation for exploring new cultures and perspectives. Some of my favorite destinations include Costa Rica, Belize, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, Japan, Croatia, and Spain.
- After I graduated from college, I moved to Sydney, Australia. I met some friends and bought a car and spent months exploring the country. It remains one of the most memorable experiences of my life. During my time in Australia and New Zealand, I embraced every adventure I could find, including skydiving, bungee jumping, scuba diving, white-water rafting, and hang gliding.
- I spent a summer teaching English in southern Spain. Living at a boarding school with more than 100 students, ages 7 to 17, I taught English classes and led educational excursions. It was during this experience that I discovered how much I loved supporting students throughout their educational journey. After my time in Spain, I moved to Boston pursue a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a School and Community Specialization.
- While earning my Master's Degree at Lesley University, I worked for a global education startup alongside professors from Harvard Business School. Watching the company grow from its early stages gave me valuable insight into innovation, entrepreneurship, and the power of education to create meaningful change.
- Growing up, I learned to ski in Vermont but once I skied out west, I loved it so much I moved to Park, City, Utah. I spent five years in Utah, where I worked as a Career Counselor at the University of Utah School of Business and led experiential learning programs for graduate students. A highlight was leading a two-week Business around-the-world program in which students visited companies in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Rome, Dublin, and Prague.
- My husband and I built out an adventure van during the pandemic. We have drove cross country to California, North to Halifax, Nova Scotia and down the coast to North Carolina. It has been a great way to travel.
- I love game shows. I was on the trivia show Cash Cab but did not win any prize money.
- Yoga has taken me to some incredible places. I have been on many yoga retreats. A memorable one was in Sayulita, Mexico in July with no electricity, surrounded by nature. At night, animals would wander into the open-air cabins, creating a peaceful yet unforgettable connection with the natural world.
- I have traveled all around the world but met my husband right here. We love raising our daughter in the Capital Region and keeping our childhood traditions alive; boating in the Adirondacks, concerts in Saratoga and skiing in Vermont.
