1. My legal name is Aloysia Rybczyk- which I am pretty sure none of you reading this can pronounce!

2. I double majored in broadcast journalism and German at NYU and won a National Championship as a player. (I also got to a Final Four and two Sweet 16s.)

3. I am the oldest of four siblings each of which played a sport in college. I am a lucky aunt of four nieces who are all VERY athletic!

4. Coaching has allowed me to live and work at some great universities, including: Northwestern, George Washington, Dayton, Furman, Sacred Heart, and Rider.

5. I absolutely love to travel and see different parts of our country and world. I only have seven states to go: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Mississippi.

6. I firmly believe diversity can be a strength. We grow from learning about each other and embracing different people from ourselves. That is reflected in our locker room.

7. I was a classically trained pianist, and much to my mother’s frustration, gave it up for sports.

8. I can cook anything. And it will probably taste good! This comes from my mother and working in restaurants to put myself through school and early years of coaching.

9. I love Star Wars. I believe in the force.

10. My husband inspires me daily. He is the strongest, funniest, toughest, smartest, (this list could go on for a while) man. I believe in fate. I also believe in trusting God’s plan - even if it makes no sense at the time.
