Whether or not you have a special someone in your life, Baloo has you covered this Valentine’s Day in the slobbery kisses department.
Siena’s Director of Happiness and his helpers were on hand today in the SSU to hand out custom-made valentines to his fellow Saints.
“Everybody loves Baloo,” said Emily Furlong ’21, assistant director of digital marketing and the human behind the furry mascot’s popular social media handles. “We took photos of him last year for his Instagram page, wearing heart-shaped sunglasses and a necklace, and we thought this year it would be more fun to hand out actual valentines in person.”
“Receiving a valentine from Baloo was a cute and unexpected surprise!” said Nicolette Carney ’25. “It definitely brought a smile to my face. Moments like these are what make Siena such a special place to be!”
