Martin Luther King III spoke May 3 at the UHY Center on “Strengthening the Bonds of Racial Justice,” which echoed Siena’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. He was also awarded an honorary doctor of humane letters. It was the College’s 35th annual Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King Lecture.
Rachel Bryk '22 changed her major three times, dropped out of college, took up landscaping, then found her calling and her way home to Siena. The walk across the graduation stage is the same distance for every student, but no student's journey to the stage has ever been like this.
Hotspotting is a health care method aimed at reducing costs while improving patient health and experience. It works by identifying “super-utilizers” (those with frequent hospital visits or admissions), and provides hands-on, individualized interventions for patients with complex social and health care needs.

Writing papers is an academic challenge for any college student; imagine writing one in a different language. That’s a requirement for Siena’s annual Undergraduate Symposium in Modern Languages and Classics, which offers students a space to present their scholarly research related to classics, and/or French, Italian, Spanish and other languages.
