Study Abroad

Siena College students in all majors have the opportunity to study abroad in more than 50 countries around the world. Students pursue international internships, do original research, engage in meaningful service learning and form lasting bonds and friendships, all while improving their employment prospects.

Summer Legal Fellows

Siena's unique Summer Legal Fellows places selected students at prestigious law schools to conduct original legal research.

Siena College's Summer Legal Fellows Program offers Siena students the opportunity to work under the direct supervision of a law school professor while undertaking original legal research with second and third year law students.  Students can apply to this program during their junior year.

Washington Semester Program

The Washington Semester Program is offered by Siena College in a cooperative arrangement with American University. The Program includes special seminars conducted by prominent Washington decision-makers, a research tutorial consisting of working with a mentor to produce a research paper or alternatively (depending on the specific track) a regular course offered by American University, and an internship experience, which could include an assignment to a congressional committee or office, an executive branch agency, an interest group association, a think tank, a private company or firm or to a media group. In addition, students have the option of enrolling in one of three faculty-led travel courses to the Silicon Valley, Western Europe, or the Middle East.
