Drop-in Tutoring
Drop-in tutoring is a great way to get on-demand assistance with questions. Simply walk into Kiernan Hall 122 with any notes, homework, or class materials you need to work on, grab a seat (or bring a friend and start a table!), and raise your hand when you have a question. A peer tutor will be right with you!
The Math Center offers drop-in tutoring throughout the week for the following courses:
- MATH 101 (Prep for Calculus)
- MATH 110 (Calculus I)
- MATH 120 (Calculus II)
- BAAS 105 (Business Applications)
- BAAS 130 (Business Mathematics)
- BAAS 200 (Business Statistics I)
- ATDV 110 (Statistics for Social Sciences)
- Basic computational and algebraic skills
Support for additional courses is also available during certain time blocks. Please refer to the schedules below for details.

Individual Tutoring
Individual tutoring sessions with peer tutors may be booked, subject to availability, at least 48 hours in advance. Please arrive prepared with topics or problems you want to discuss, and bring along any notes, textbooks, homework, or class materials you might need to refer to!
Students can book individual tutoring appointments through our online scheduling system, Navigate360. Please note: Individual tutoring ends on the last day of classes, and tutoring appointments must not be booked during school breaks.
- Access Navigate360. For easy access, you can also download the app in Google Play or Apple and log in with your Siena email and password.
- Click the Appointments tab on the left toolbar to bring up the Appointments screen. This includes appointments for several different student service offices.
- Click the blue Make an Appointment button on the right side of the screen. Answer the following questions under "What can we help you find?"
- What type of appointment would you like to schedule? = Math Center
- Service = One-on-one peer tutoring appointments
- Pick a Date = Select a desired date. Please note that choosing a specific date will not limit you to that particular day of appointments!
- The appointment book will populate with available dates and times, and you can find available tutors for your specific classes, and even sort by staff if there is a particular tutor you want to work with!
- Choose the appointment time that you would like to schedule.
- Check your email and/or text messages for a confirmation message!
Location: All one-on-one peer tutoring appointments should take place in Kiernan Hall 121 outside of drop-in hours. Your tutor will let you into the room.
