The Center for Academic Community Engagement (ACE) takes a leadership role on reducing poverty and social injustice in the Capital Region by facilitating deep, meaningful, and long-term engagement opportunities among Siena students, postgraduates, faculty, and nonprofit community partners. Focusing on five issue areas -- education, health, homelessness, hunger, and justice -- ACE supports and enhances the work of our community partners through a multifaceted DEEP Service approach to capacity building.

Siena Student Selected to Participate in #CollegeDebate16
Eric Brower, a rising senior and Community Policy Institute (CPI) Fellow, continued to follow his passion for politics, and was selected as one of the six student representatives for New York State in the #CollegeDebate16 Conference.

The Bonner Program and the ACE office allows its members the opportunity to go out into the community and create a sustainable, lasting change in the Capital Region Area. As a freshman Bonner, I served as a Girl Scout Leader for the Siena Girl Scout Club at three different troops in the area, working to teach leadership skills and empower the young girls.
