The Department of Physics and Astronomy Endowment was created in 2023 by retired Physics Professor John-Michael Caldaro and his wife, Gail Capobianco. The Fund should be used at the discretion of the department for the purpose of advancing the education of the students and staff in the department. Some examples may include but are not limited to: developing an innovative lab; sending staff or students to conferences; and purchasing equipment to advance the teaching and learning processes, etc. Funds may be spent at the discretion of the chair of the Physics Department for any needs not covered by the yearly Physics department budget.
