In the School of Science, research is a vital part of the undergraduate experience. Siena students have numerous opportunities to engage in research activities across a variety of disciplines and work collaboratively with faculty mentors to enhance their education and develop vital professional skills. Students are encouraged and supported to present their work In addition to faculty obtaining external grant support from private, state, and federal agencies, research projects receive training and support including conference travel from Siena facilities and staff. With student access to and support from the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (CURCA), The High Performance Computing Center (HPCC), the Stewart's Advanced Instrumentation and Technology (SAInT) Center, and the Breyo Observatory, the School of Science is leading undergraduate education in scientific instrumental resources and training.
