The Office of the University Chaplain serves as the spiritual center of campus where hundreds of young men and women gather regularly to share their joys, triumphs, talents, questions, struggles, and, most significantly, their faith in God and their commitment to the Gospel.
Please join the Siena Community for the celebration of All Saints on Sunday, Nov. 1 at all the Masses.
Also, we invite you to gather on Monday, Nov. 2 at the Grotto for an All Souls Prayer Service. We will remember our loved ones who have died in the past year. If you would like your loved one to be remembered, please email their name(s) to Fr. Larry at landerson@siena.edu
As we prepare for the upcoming Fall semester, here is the Mass schedule leading into the semester. Please join us!
Sunday, Sept. 6 11:00am & 7:00pm
Tuesday, Sept. 8 Daily Mass Begins 12:00pm
Sunday, Sept. 13 Regular Semester Mass Schedule
Please note, the 11:00am Live Stream Mass will now be available on the Siena University Chaplain's Office YouTube page. You can get to the page by clicking the link below or by putting @SienaChaplainsOffice in the search menu on YouTube. The Live Stream is no longer available on the Friar's Facebook page.
We welcome all to come for a few minutes of conversation, quiet prayer, a listening ear or a fresh
perspective. Students are invited to worship at one of our liturgies or participate in one of our faith-formation programs.
Jesus says in John's Gospel: "In my Father's house there are many dwelling places." Our hope is that you find a spiritual home in St. Mary of the Angels Chapel and in the services of the University Chaplain's Office.
Almighty, eternal, just, and merciful God, grant us. . . the grace to do for You alone what we know You want us to do, and always to desire what pleases You. Thus, inwardly cleansed, interiorly enlightened, and inflamed by the fire of the Holy Spirit, may we be able to follow in the footprints of Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ...
-- St. Francis of Assisi
Here at Siena we support all of our students in their search for ultimate meaning in their lives. This is an important part of our Franciscan tradition. For students who are not of the Roman Catholic faith tradition, the Chaplain’s Office is available to assist you with finding a place of worship within your own religious tradition. Please see this list of Faith Traditions from the surrounding area.
