Student Events Board
What we do
We are devoted to providing quality entertainment to the Siena community. The purpose of the Student Events Board is to coordinate student entertainment, co-curricular, and cultural programs for the Siena Community. Through the use of creativity and ingenuity, the entirely student-run organization presents many opportunities for the Siena Community to enjoy not only the academic pursuits of Siena, but also the social aspect.
SEB sponsors traditional types of entertainment in many forms, such as Bingo, interactive events, and collaborations with other clubs on campus. The board encourages the development of new areas of entertainment based on student interest. Plus, it's free for all Siena Students to come to our weekly events!
Event Planning Committees
Events are planned and executed by several student committees who each specialize in a certain area of programs.
SEB has multiple committees that work hard to create a vibrant campus with great events:
Concert: SienaFest is our annual spring festival and during that weekend we have our Spring Concert! Past concert artists include B.o.B., Jay Sean, Sage the Gemini, Swae Lee, Bryce Vine, Fetty Wap, and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, just to name a few.
Coffeehouse: Events that happen every Thursday night and provide various forms of entertainment including but not limited to games, BINGO, crafts, giveaways, and performers.
Festivals: Our annual spring festival on campus is SienaFest; which starts on Thursday and runs through Sunday at the end of the spring semester. This weekend brings rides, food trucks, and other fun activities to campus!
Family Weekend: In the fall we have a weekend dedicated to bringing family members and supporters to campus, entertainment has included axe throwing, karaoke, food trucks, live music, fireworks, and BINGO!
Special Events: This committee specializes in new programs and collaborative events that range from year to year. Our past co-chairs have planned a Charity Auction, the student program for Christmas at Siena, and in the Spring planned the Musical Mayhem competition to select the student opener for the SienaFest concert.
We bring some pretty cool events to campus, but do you want to know the best thing about SEB? Anyone can join when applications open at the end of each semester! We are also always happy to receive student feedback and ideas.
