History Club

We are one of the most active clubs at Siena College. Taking trips to local and national historic sites and having fun at meetings, this club is the place for anyone interested in history - from watching Saving Private Ryan to reading up on the Federalist Papers. Our biggest event of the year is the Siena College Day of Living History where the club brings re-enactors on campus to set up a sizable encampment on the front lawn. They perform educational demonstrations for both Siena students and the general public.

What we do

The Siena College History Club provides an educational and fun outlet for students to pursue their interest in history outside the classroom. The history club meets on scheduled Tuesdays and discusses upcoming trips and movie nights, all of which are suggested by club members. The History Club has visited places such as West Point, Fort Ticonderoga,& Saratoga. They have also seen historic movies, including Glory, Valkerye and Conspirator. We encourage all majors to join in!
