Schedule of Events

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

4:30- 6 p.m.

Check-in/ Welcome & Packet Pick-Up

Sarazen Student Union- Atrium

Pick up a schedule of events, tickets for off-campus trips, and any t-shirts you may have purchased. Also, make sure all family members pick up their wrist bands so they can participate in the events throughout this weekend.

5:00-7:30 p.m.

Family Reception &  Entertainment

Sarazen Student Union- Paddock

Mix and mingle with other families outside of the Sarazen Student Union to get to know them and their students. Light refreshments and cash bar will be provided.

7:30-9:00 p.m.

Student Bands

Sarazen Student Union- Casey’s

Join us for for entertainment as a Student Band performs & shares their talent.

Off Campus

Come support our club Hockey Team as they play at our off-campus facility. -  Albany County Hockey Facility

Adventure out and explore some of the wonderful things to do and see in our local community. You can purchase this adventure pack on the merchandise page and receive a personalized family weekend string-bag full of snacks for your enjoyment while you explore.

Talk with the President & Continental Breakfast

Sarazen Student Union- Room 240

Br. F. Edward Coughlin, President of Siena College, will share a few words on the mission and vision of the college. Followed by a continental breakfast and discussion with staff/faculty.

SAINTS Festival & Food Trucks

Academic Quad/Rain: Marcelle Athletic Complex

Join us for our annual SAINTS Festival. We will have Carnival Swings, Mechanical Scissor Ride, Photo booth, hippo chow down and wipe out obstacle course, giant trikes with track, airbrush tattoos, a petting zoo, candy art, chocolate fountain and dipping dots.

Off Campus Trips: Liberty Ridge Farm

 

 Liberty Ridge Farm

This year we will explore the wonderful things at our local liberty ridge farm. You can enjoy the giant corn maze, Pig Racing & Pumpkin Cannon Shows, Petting Zoo, Jumping Pillow, Giant Gerbil Wheels, Trolley Rides, Tunnel Slide, Carnival Games, Rope Climbing, and Sound Garden. 

Siena will have our own tent and camp fire to enjoy as well. Sign-ups required, limited spots available. Please see our merchandise page to register.

Blessing of the Animals

St. Francis delighted in God’s presence wherever he found it, even in the least of God’s creatures. In remembrance of Francis’ love for all creation, bring your pet dog, cat, hamster, parrot, elephant or giraffe to our annual feast day blessing of the animals.

Speed Painter: Tom Varano

Sarazen Student Union- Room 240

Using his fingertips, palms, and multiple paint brushes, Tom Varano is a master at painting custom portraits in just a matter of minutes! Tom utilizes a style which he calls, “Emotion Into Art” that helps take his audience through an amazing journey of excitement, suspense, and surprise as he creates portraits for them. Make sure you stop by to experience his incredible talent!

Dine at one of the many local restaurants near campus as well as the option to dine at Lonnstrom Dinning Hall on-campus. Dinner 4:00-7:00 $12.25
