"Franciscan Fridays” is a weekly initiative designed to bring the Siena community together through meaningful reflection, community service, and shared values inspired by St. Francis of Assisi. Each Friday, students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to pause, connect, and engage in activities that foster compassion, gratitude, and service to others.
Every first Friday of the month, members of the Siena community will be recognized and celebrated for their commitment to one of Siena's five core values- Compassionate Leadership, Inclusivity, Innovation, Lifelong Learning, and being Person Centered- which reflect the Franciscan identity of the institution.
Keep an eye out for future Franciscan Friday events and take part in this journey to make a meaningful difference in our community and beyond! Community members are encouraged to email communications@siena.edu with the name of a colleague they see living that value, and the specific action they have taken to demonstrate it.
