The TAG Program assures your acceptance into Siena once you’ve received your associate’s degree from Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC). It is designed to help you transition easily between our two colleges – and keeps you on the path to a bachelor’s degree. 

Program Advantages

  • Earn both an associate’s and bachelor’s degree from two respected schools.
requirements

During your time at HVCC, you will work closely with our transfer advisor, meeting at least once a semester to assess program requirements, review course options and discuss financial aid opportunities to help you stay on track.

  • Earn 60 transferable credits or an associate’s degree from HVCC
  • Complete the TAG application prior to completing 30 HVCC credits
  • Sign a TAG agreement prior to completing 30 HVCC credits
  • Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 (3.3 for biology)
  • Attend a TAG workshop
  • Meet with a Siena transfer admission counselor a minimum of once a semester and submit an unofficial WIRED transcript at the end of each semester
  • Submit all necessary documents needed to complete the Siena College transfer application, including college transcripts, Siena College recommendation form and final high school transcript/GED one semester prior to Siena College enrollment.

FINANCIAL AID

As a TAG student you are eligible for financial aid from Siena College. Your transfer advisor will discuss your potential merit and need based opportunities.
