Siena College and Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons School in Schenectady have partnered to create an innovative program for high school students to secure enrollment in any bachelor’s degree program at Siena as soon as their sophomore year.

Eligible students may apply for these programs as early as their sophomore year based on their past and projected academic performance.

To apply students must:

  • Submit to NDBG’s School Counseling Office by March 1 a brief essay requesting consideration for the opportunity.
  • Complete Physics and Pre Calculus during their high school career.
  • Have earned grades consistently at the B (85 or above) level in the core classes of math, English, science, history and language (if applicable).
  • Satisfy the following high school requirements to remain in the early assurance program: 4 years of English, Social Studies/History; 4 years of Math, including Pre Cal or its equivalent; 4 years of laboratory sciences, including Physics or its equivalent. Satisfaction of this curriculum will exempt students from submitting standardized tests scores to Siena.

Interested student must participate in an interview workshop and subsequent interview with a member of the Siena College Admissions Staff.

Siena and NDBG work together to schedule, organize and present a series of workshops designed and delivered by the Siena Admissions and Financial Aid staff.  Some topics may include:
