Through the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and Siena College Early Assurance Program, you can secure yourself a seat in Siena’s School of Business before anyone else. 

Introducing the Early Assurance Program, a partnership with Siena College’s School of Business and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, where enrolled students can:

  • Earn three degrees — Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School degree, Bachelor of Science in Business, and a Master's in Business Administration from Siena's AACSB- accredited program. 
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art Hickey Financial Technology Center, Raub Trading Room, and Alonge Accounting Lab.
  • Choose from 19 concentrations through Siena’s customized business major, making your degree personalized to your goals and interests.
  • Complete Siena degrees at your pace— including our accelerated program for students looking to complete both degrees in three or four years. 
  • Live and learn on Siena’s tight-knit campus. You’ll find out what it really means to live like a Saint.

while in high school: start your Life as a Saint

Your journey to becoming a Siena Saint starts during your sophomore year at BH-BL High School.

  • Complete Siena’s free application online, including a short essay, requesting consideration to be admitted in the Early Assurance Program by December 1. (Students may also be considered for application during their junior year).
  • Earn grades consistently at the B (85 or above) level in the core courses of math, English, science, social studies and language.
  • Be on track to complete four years of: English, social studies, math, laboratory sciences (including physics, or an advanced placement science elective). Three years of: a language other than English. One or more: College in the High School business electives. Satisfaction of this curriculum will exempt you from submitting standardized test scores to Siena. 

Qualified applicants will be invited to participate in an interview workshop and interview with the Siena Admissions staff. Following graduation from BH-BL High School, you must earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 to stay on track for the Siena MBA.

We know when you imagine college, academics certainly aren’t the only thing that comes to mind. Whether our Saints are grabbing a quesadilla at the food truck, meeting with the hip-hop club between classes, rebuilding a home with Habitat for Humanity, or grabbing their cleats before their intramural flag football game—our Saints agree, it’s always a great day to be a Saint. 

completing your mba: Preparing for the road ahead 

The Siena MBA allows you to choose from four unique and specialized concentrations: business analytics, finance, marketing, and strategic management. Each path was created specifically to address workforce demands in regional and national job markets.

Students in this program will enter Siena on track to earn a B.S. in their third year and the Siena MBA in their fourth year. For highly motivated students, Siena provides the option to complete both degrees in just three years. 

While not all students will choose the accelerated track, all students will have the chance to take graduate-level courses as they finish their undergraduate degree.
