Madison McHugh '25
Is a Tarte Cosmetics concealer right for you? It is if Simone Biles uses it. In the cosmetics game, influencer marketing trumps all other forms of production promotion. Madison McHugh '25 learned that on day one of her New York City internship at Tarte corporate headquarters. As a brand marketing intern, she was asked to surf socials (most especially TikTok) in search of potential brand ambassadors. The marketing major says her brand management knowledge grew exponentially over the 10-week internship, but marketing classes on campus prepared her to speak the language in the brand marketing department.
Amal Thomas '22
Amal Thomas ’22 kicked off his dream career as a program manager at Microsoft right after graduation. From day one, he dove into customer interactions, collaborating with software engineers, and helping guide products from idea to launch. Amal’s journey to Microsoft was powered by incredible internships at Regeneron and Apple, which gave him the experience and confidence to land multiple job offers his senior year. In the end, Microsoft won him over, and now he’s thriving in a role where innovation is key.
Gabriela Jimenez '26
Gabriela Jimenez '26 has been attending soccer matches at Red Bull Arena for as long as Red Bull Arena has existed (2010). She's a soccer fan from a soccer-fanatic family, and cheering on the New York Red Bulls is among their favorite traditions. For years, she reveled in the action from the stands. Over the summer, she was on the sidelines.
"Sometimes I would look up in the stands and think, 'That's where our season tickets were. We sat there.'"
She didn't have much time to reminisce. She was working.
Ben Leib '22, G'24
Ben Leib ’22, G’24, was making big moves as a sales account executive at Bilinski’s, where he took on marketing, promotions, and connecting with customers—all while pursuing his Siena MBA. During senior week, he brought free Bilinski’s chicken sausage to share with friends, turning a fun hangout into a mini marketing success. Ben landed the job through a connection with a Siena alum during a panel discussion, proving just how powerful the Saints network can be.
