#THANKFUL

There's no question that this time of year is about much more than just turkey trots, football games, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie (although how amazing is the one in this pic?). It's about showing appreciation for all the good things in your life and for all the people you feel blessed to know. Scroll through to see what our Saints are thankful for!

“I am incredibly thankful for the support system I have been fortunate enough to develop here at Siena. Whether it’s your neighbor across the hall that lends you detergent when you run out, a professor that checks up on you after your miss class because of an illness, or your Saint who, rather than forgetting your existence after Orientation week, continues to help you navigate any obstacles you may encounter in this new environment; the Siena community is one of truly kind-hearted, selfless individuals — and that is true of nearly every person on campus.”

"I am incredibly thankful for the people here at Siena. I’ve surrounded myself with hard-working, caring individuals who will be in my life for years to come. I created a home away from home by being a part of the SALD Office, Ambassadors, Peer Mentor, and Admissions. I value the small interactions I have throughout campus with kind professors and students and take every opportunity to get involved. Siena has made me appreciate the journey of finding my own path and surrounded me with people that will support me in the ups and downs along the way."

“I’m glad to be a part of such a community who stands by your side through thick and thin. A community where each member is respected and taken care of. I’m thankful that I have people who I can talk to, who care about me, and who will never let me lose hope.”

"I'm thankful for the amazing friends, professors, and mentors who have helped me grow both personally and professionally, the incredible learning opportunities in and out of the classroom, and for Siena's sense of community that each of its members contributes to."

"I am so thankful to be part of the Siena Dance Team for 3 years now and I will always be grateful for all of the friendships that I have made. The best time of year is basketball season when we get to perform and feel Siena's school spirit at games! I will forever be thankful for Siena College"

"I’m thankful for the people I have met so far here at Siena. As a new Saint, adjusting to a new environment can be difficult, and having the community be so open and kind, it has made my transition much easier."
