Yasmin, a proud Siena HEOP alum has dedicated her career to serving students and helping them reach their goals. She has worked in higher education for the past 8 years and primarily focuses on enrolling, retaining, and graduating traditionally underrepresented students. Having worked at the Posse Foundation and SUNY Adirondack Community College, eliminating barriers that get in the way of students' academic success has always been her passion. As Director, Yasmin oversees the HEOP grant and is the direct liaison with the New York State Education department. She has a BA from Siena in Political Science and her MPA from LIU (Brooklyn campus). Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful children.
