Ron Bjorklund ’85 is President and CEO of Vermeer North Atlantic, a heavy equipment sales and service company he has led for 28 years, with locations across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Long Island. He began his career in the industry in 1986 with support from Siena University’s Career Center.

A 1985 graduate of Siena University with a B.S. in Computer Science, Bjorklund was a member of the college’s rugby program and remains actively involved with Siena Rugby alumni. He has served on Siena’s Board of Trustees for 15 years, including roles as Secretary and Vice Chairperson, and has chaired the Student Life Committee while also serving on the Governance and Athletics Committees. He and his wife, Cathy, are recipients of the Fr. Ben Kuhn Award in recognition of his service to the college.

Bjorklund has also held multiple leadership roles within the North American Vermeer Dealers Association, including a term as President, and currently serves as a Director for National Collegiate Rugby. His community involvement includes youth basketball coaching and program leadership, and he is a former Commodore of the Albany Yacht Club in Rensselaer, New York.

He is married to Cathy Casey Bjorklund ’85, and they have three children, including a Siena graduate from the Class of 2018. The Bjorklunds reside in southern New Jersey.
