Nicole Muller joined Siena College in July 2022 as The Director of The Counseling Center. She graduated from The State University of New York, College at Cortland with her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology of The Exceptional Child in 1999. Nicole went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Albany School of Social Welfare in 2001. Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 20 years of experience helping individuals overcome obstacles and reach their fullest potential. Her clinical orientation is rooted in Strengths-based theory, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-focused therapies. She believes the strengths and resources of individuals are at the core of the therapeutic process. Areas of specialty include; treatment of trauma, anxiety and relationship difficulties. Nicole also brings to her role at Siena considerable experience in the management and coordination of clinical services and clinical supervision. Nicole is committed to ensuring that high quality, individualized counseling services are provided to Siena students. On a personal note, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping and traveling. She feels very fortunate to be part of this dynamic and caring campus community.
