Mary Humiston has 30 years of global leadership experience in HR, Finance and Business Transformation at Accenture, Rolls Royce plc, Applied Materials, Honeywell and GE. Mary earned a Master of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and studied at Siena University and Oxford University during her undergraduate years.

Following retirement from Rolls-Royce plc in London in 2018 where she was the Chief Human Resources Officer, Mary founded Modern Career to enable greater support for professionals in navigating a successful career in an ever-changing world of work. 

For the past decade, Mary has also served as an executive coach to leaders across industries, guiding them to enhance their influence, presence, and leadership effectiveness. She is most passionate about unlocking the potential within each leader to create meaningful impact and lasting change.

Mary serves on multiple Boards including The Board of Trustees of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
