Mairead obtained undergraduate degrees in English and Philosophy at St. John’s University in 2015. She then served with City Year, an AmeriCorps program, in Columbus, Ohio from 2015-2016. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University at Albany - SUNY. Mairead also holds a Master of Arts degree from the University at Albany in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. As the Assistant Director for NExT and SPIn, Mairead is dedicated to student leadership, interdisciplinary work, and building the capacity of our community partners.
