Kayla is a new part of Siena's counseling team. She graduated from LeMoyne College in 2020 with her bachelors in Psychology, and received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Oswego in 2022.
Kayla believes every person’s story is unique, and that the therapy process should reflect that individuality. She views building trust and creating a sense of safety as the foundation of meaningful therapeutic work. Kayla draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help individuals develop effective coping skills, increase psychological flexibility, and reauthor the stories they tell about themselves. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences, strengths, values and goals.
Outside of the office, Kayla spends time with family, friends, and her two dogs, and enjoys hiking, snowboarding and playing soccer. Kayla is thrilled to be a part of the Siena Community!
