Dr. Jung received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University in 2025, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California, and a B.A. in Economics from Soongsil University in South Korea. Dr. Jung is an applied microeconomist specializing in experimental, behavioral, and health economics. His research primarily utilizes experimental methods to explore treatment effects both in laboratory settings and in the field. In the laboratory, his work centers on understanding individual decision-making and collective actions, while in the field, he uses randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to test the effectiveness of interventions aimed at enhancing student engagement.
