Sophie Whiteman is a Siena College 2022 alumni with a B.A. in Health Studies, Health Science.
She is currently an MPH candidate at UAlbany with a concentration in Social Behavior and
Community Health. She is also pursuing a Global Health Studies certificate. She currently works
at the New York State Department of Health Cardiac Services Program as a Data Assistant. She
recently returned from a three month internship in Uganda where she completed a project titled
“Enhancing Maternal and Child Health in Ddegeya Village: Engeye Health Clinic Maternity
Center Progress.”
