Karina, a member of the Class of 2025, is majoring in history with a public history certificate at Siena. She joined the Siena Beverage Institute in May 2023 and enjoys researching beverages from a historical perspective. Karina feels fortunate to work with such an incredible interdisciplinary team.

In her free time, Karina enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, and singing. Some of her favorite artists include Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Kacey Musgraves, Dua Lipa, and Ariana Grande. She has served as Vice President of Lost In Sound, the acappella club on campus, and is also a member of the Chamber Singers. Karina looks forward to continuing her musical experiences both on and off campus.

Colin Caulfield, a Management and Economics major from Guilderland, NY, found his path to Siena Beverage Institute through his curiosity about the beverage industry, sparked while working at Empire Wine. Known affectionately as the "Cellar Master," Colin manages the wine cellar for the Beverage Institute, demonstrating his expertise and passion for the field.

Outside the classroom, Colin enjoys outdoor activities like baseball and golfing. He is also an active member of the Campus Ministry Leadership team, showcasing his commitment to community and leadership. During a memorable spring semester, Colin expanded his horizons by spending time in Cork, Ireland.

With a dream of owning a vineyard in Tuscany, Italy, Colin's journey at Siena Beverage Institute is just the beginning of his exciting career in the craft beverage industry.
