Dan Rutnik is the Chairman and a founding member of Graypoint LLC, a financial advisory and investment firm for families and nonprofit institutions. Dan and his team specialize in working with ultra-high-net-worth families managing their wealth, providing estate and income tax planning, educating family members and advising on family philanthropy.

Graypoint now employs over seventy people and has offices in Albany and Saratoga Springs with clients throughout the country. They work with a range of families and nonprofits, providing sophisticated investment management and financial planning services.

He received a B.A. from Siena College in 1980 and a J.D. from Albany Law School in 1983. Dan was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by The Stack Center of Siena College in 2018.
