Patricia Gioia Hall Welcome Center was developed with the support of Paul Gioia and dedicated to the memory of his beloved wife, Patricia, as an appropriate celebration of Patricia’s life and her strong commitment to Siena College and to its Franciscan values.
Patricia devoted much of her time and energy to helping those in need and to charitable activities. She was a Franciscan in spirit and in action. Patricia often repeated a statement attributed to St. Francis: “Always preach the gospel. Use words if necessary.”
Patricia followed Saint Francis’ example and showed her love and compassion for others through her deeds.
