Location, location, location

“The college is a quick drive away from the Adirondack Mountains and close to my home which allows me to pick up my ice fishing gear for my independent study project.”

Big fish in small sea

“The size of Siena allows me to have a close, personal relationships with my professors and to be involved in the work they are doing. My classmates and professors have become my second family.”

Next stop?

“I’d like to work at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation in the fish and wildlife division and manage fisheries resources. I am also interested in alternative energy, so working for a company that explores renewable ways to produce energy is a possibility too.”

Advice for prospective students?

“Don’t be afraid to build personal relationships with your professors and inquire about their research areas. Getting involved in research helped me figure out what I want to do after Siena.”
