I chose Siena for the small size and community atmosphere. It is definitely a place where you can find your second family.
I was originally interested in engineering but when I decided on Siena I chose to go with a physics degree because they offered a transfer program into engineering degrees. I ended up staying at Siena and starting my masters in engineering through Union Graduate College my senior year.
My most meaningful experience at Siena was participating in the 4-1 masters program with Union Graduate College. This program allowed me to complete my bachelors degree in four years and start my masters in engineering my senior year at Siena. Being close to receiving a masters in engineering in addition to my physics degree opened a lot of doors for me and expanded my post-graduate opportunities.
Going to Siena gave me the independence and work ethic that I needed for the real world. My experiences here taught me that you have to work hard for success and that hard work definitely pays off.
