Multicultural Studies is an interdisciplinary and comparative program that encompasses scholarship about intercultural relations and constructions of race/ethnicity in social, cultural, historical, political, and economic contexts.

The Multicultural Studies minor at Siena introduces students to in-depth analysis of race/ethnicity and culture in the United States and in the nations of origin of peoples of non-European descent. Multicultural Studies courses promote an appreciation of human diversity, and contextualized understanding of the complex history of intercultural relations within the United States and the larger world.
