Siena's Cybersecurity and Enterprise Risk Management four-course graduate certification program will prepare students to develop and implement risk governance and control environment frameworks to increase corporate control safeguards for individuals, departments, and organizations. Enrollment is expected to be open for the spring 2024 semester.

Siena's certificate offers a specialized, interdisciplinary approach to cybersecurity that examines the field through the lenses of ethics, communications, risk management, compliance law, data analytics and organizational change. 

The four required courses are: 

  • Cybersecurity and Oversight of Information System Security
  • Data Security, Privacy and Ethics in Cybersecurity
  • Data Mining and Predictive Analytics
  • Digital Forensics & Assisted Investigations

The program is designed to fit the schedules of working professionals. The 12 credits required to earn this certificate can be applied toward the College's AACSB-accredited Master of Science in Accountancy or Master of Business Administration.

THE PROGRAM WILL EXPOSE STUDENTS TO THE LATEST BEST PRACTICES IN CYBERSECURITY THROUGH EXPERIENTIAL ENGAGEMENT WITH INDUSTRY EXPERTS. STUDENTS WILL GAIN HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING INTEGRATED STRATEGIES, POLICIES, AND SAFEGUARDS TO MANAGE RISKS ACROSS AN ORGANIZATION.”
