A view of beautiful downtown Melbourne,
one of the world's truly international cities

About the University

Australian Catholic University (ACU), Melbourne offers a broad range of high-quality academic courses to its more than 7,000 (12% international) students. With a strong commitment to social responsibility, ACU students find a place to learn and experience Australian life in both an academic and social setting. Courses, or units as they are called in Australia, are offered in business, the natural and social sciences, and liberal arts.

Melbourne

Melbourne is a rich and culturally vibrant city. Approximately 40% of the city's 4.2 million residents were born outside of Australia in more than 130 countries. The juxtaposition of different architectural styles, along with an inexhaustible variety of boutique stores, theatres, galleries, museums, restaurants and cafes, festivals, and clubs, emulates Melbourne's status as a true 'melting pot,' and gives the city a vibrant cultural scene. ACU's campus is conveniently located on the edge of the Central Business District. Some of Melbourne's finest parks, gardens, recreational activities, and shopping are within easy walking distance of campus.
