The Siena College Political Science Department seeks candidates to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Introduction to U.S. Politics, Congress, the Presidency, and to also be able to teach courses in at least two of the following areas: Political Parties, Interest Groups, Campaigns and Elections, and the Media. We especially encourage candidates whose teaching and research interests in the areas above address issues of the poor and marginalized, racial, ethnic, and immigrant communities. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and an active research agenda. Ph.D. prior to appointment preferred.
