HEOP Office Assistant

The Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) of Siena College is currently accepting applications for the full-time, 12-month position of HEOP Office Assistant. This position provides administrative assistance with the performance of general office duties such as greeting all visitors, answering phones, preparing correspondence as well as State Education Department reports, maintaining confidential student and budget records, processing mail, coordinating the HEOP admissions process, and working with various office and College constituents regarding the planning and coordinating of program events. The Office Assistant will also be responsible for assisting with the processing of bills, and providing clerical and secretarial support to
Office staff, as well as directing inquiries to the appropriate parties. This position also assists with the scheduling of appointments, reserving space and preparing materials for meetings, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma, proficient with Microsoft Office products, database management; ability to multi-task in a fast paced professional environment, demonstrated knowledge of customer service and the ability to interact effectively with a culturally diverse College student population.
