Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

The department of Accounting in the School of Business at Siena College is accepting applications for one tenure track position to begin in September 2013. The position will be at the assistant professor or associate professor level.

Siena College is a Catholic, coeducational liberal arts college in the Franciscan tradition serving 2,900 undergraduate students. The School of Business is AACSB accredited and has an enrollment of 1,300 students. Accounting is among the largest majors in the school, with both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Accounting (ABD will be considered) and experience teaching introductory and upper level accounting courses. Professional experience is also desirable. The Department is especially interested in candidates who will support our specific curricular needs in Accounting Information Systems and/or Auditing. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research and professional development activities commensurate with AACSB expectations and the mission of the School of Business. The candidate must also be willing to contribute actively to the curricular development, governance, and continuing improvement efforts of the school.
