FYE Trips Fall 2012

The Office of Residential Life is excited to offer first year students various trips that highlight the city of Albany and the surrounding area.  We will be offering opportunities for first year students to meet and enjoy trips with their class of 2016 classmates. Trips will be offered throughout the year! When a student signs up for a First Year Experience Trip their student bill will be charged, transportation and admittance costs are included. Here is a list of the trips that first year residents can sign up for now:

Ausable Chasm Lazy River Rafting Tour- September 15th @ 9:00AM - $20.00

  • Enjoy a rafting tour of the Ausable Chasm as an experienced guide navigates the raft between the towering cliffs of the Grand Flume and past the Broken Needle. You cruise through the rapids and around the Whirlpool Basin.  Step back in time, and enjoy a day outdoors and among the waterfalls, as you walk the nature trails of the Adirondack Forest.  (cont. on back) 

Six Flags New England Trip – September 23rd @ 9:30AM – $35.00

  • Six Flags - New England has just about every kind of ride for every kind of rider. So, whether you want to take to the air on Bizarro, spin head-over-heels on Catapult, cool off in Splash Island or experience the magic of our classic Carousel, you'll find what you're looking for right here.

Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz – November 17th @ 7:00PM - $40.00

  • Winner of 35 major awards, including three Tony Awards and a Grammy. Wicked is the untold story of the Witches of Oz, long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz.
