Dr. Reno teaches the Siena College Chorus and Chamber Singers, courses in vocal and general music, and serves as resident music director for the Theater Program.  He is an active conductor, singer, and keyboardist throughout the area.  Incorporating a variety of styles and techniques, Dr. Reno’s teaching reflects his enjoyment of all aspects of music and collaboration.

Upcoming professional engagements include a recording session of the vocal works of David Heckendorn (March 2014), performances of Heinrich Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri with Musicians of Ma'alwyck (April 2014), and solo work with the Octavo Singers (May 2014) in a program of Mozart and Karl Jenkins.

In October Dr. Reno sang Phantasmagoria, a work by Jeffrey Brody using three poems of Edgar Allen Poe, with acclaimed area ensemble Musicians of Ma’alwyck.  More information about this world premiere performance of the version for voice, string quartet and harp can be found at

Other recent activities include a recording session with composer David Heckendorn, conducting a clinic with the Schenectady High School Chamber Choir, performing the role of Kimo in Jerre Tanner’s Kona Coffee Cantata and vocal quintet member in the Schütz Seven last words with Musicians of Ma’alwyck, and conducting the Schenectady County High School Honor Choir.
