Siena College AmeriCorps*VISTA Fellows

Become a Siena College AmeriCorps*VISTA Fellow and be a part of anti-poverty community development efforts in the Capital Region of New York! This dynamic program is open to postgraduates looking for an opportunity to grow their personal and professional skills in a supportive and team-based environment.

The Siena College AmeriCorps*VISTA Fellows Program is one of the original community engagement programs established by ACE. Since 2008, dozens of AmeriCorps*VISTA Fellows have successfully completed a year (or more) of service. Our VISTA Fellows are passionate and highly dedicated individuals who make a commitment to live at the poverty line and work in solidarity with communities members in a similar situation. Each VISTA Fellow is placed at one of our community partner sites and works hard throughout the year to build the capacity of the organization in which they serve, develop Siena college campus-community partnerships, and create sustainable solutions for the most pressing needs of our communities. Throughout the year, VISTA Fellows develop professional skills, establish a wide network of students, faculty, staff, and community members, and discover their passions as they develop their interests and ideas for a future career.
