Common reasons for same day emergency appointments include, but are not limited to:
- Thoughts of suicide
- Thoughts of wanting to hurt someone else
- Recent traumatic event
- Recent death of a loved one
- Recent abuse or assault
If you are in need of an urgent (same day) appointment at the Counseling Center, please call the office at 518-783-2342. You can attend a walk-in appointment as well during normal business hours. If you are in crisis after-hours or on a weekend, please call Public Safety at 518-783-2999 to be connected to the on-call provider.
