We are excited to announce that in addition to the social events already scheduled for June 3-5, 2022 recommended by the Class Council and endorsed by respondents to your Class Survey in April, the College will host a formal Class of 2020 Commencement ceremony on Sunday, November 14 this year.

To help welcome you home, we are also in the beginning stages of planning Siena’s inaugural Homecoming for that same weekend. This will correspond with our first home basketball game with spectators in nearly two years on Saturday, November 13 — something all Saints are looking forward to. We expect weekend festivities to include on and off-campus activities, a Class of 2020 champagne toast, a pre-basketball game tailgate, and a Mass. On Sunday, we will host the 2020 Commencement ceremony with caps and gowns. Parents and loved ones are invited to join us. We sincerely hope you are able to participate in some or all of the activities.

We have begun the extensive process of planning these events and anticipate no COVID restrictions as long as participants provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours.

For those who only desire a gathering next June for social events with friends, we continue to plan for that in conjunction with our Reunion Weekend activities which will include special Class of 2020 themed events and activities. Members of the Class of 2020 are, of course, more than welcome to attend both the November 2021 Commencement/Homecoming Weekend events and the June 2022 Reunion Weekend gatherings.

So, mark your calendars now—we can’t wait to celebrate you!

More details are coming soon, but please take a moment to complete the preliminary RSVP form that was sent to your email and let us know what events you will attend and if there are activities you would like included in our November and/or June celebrations. We want to hear directly from you so that the experiences we plan meet your desires.

Hope to see you in November!
