Brick House Tavern & Tap: The pizza, wings and house-baked soft pretzels are amazing.
Burger21: Burger21 has a huge array of burgers, obviously—but the best part of their menu is the milkshake section. Studying is a lot more fun with a chocolate malted milk ball shake in hand.
BurgerFi: Burgers, hot dogs and custard are right down the street.
J.J. Rafferty's: Siena students love coming to this bar and grill to eat on the patio (or sing karaoke), but on nights when they can't get out, the takeout is just as good.
La Capital Tacos: They call themselves the “most authentic Mexico City Style Taqueria in Troy” annnnnd they’re absolutely right.
Latham ‘76 Diner: It’s a diner, it’s open 24 hours, and it’s the cure for everything.
Tipsy Moose: Another good place for pub grub, Tipsy Moose is well-known around these parts for its wings.
Yang's Asian Bistro: When everyone agrees on sushi, Yang's rolls are the best.... and it's not just because they named one of their special rolls the "Siena" (two pieces of shrimp tempura and avocado inside, topped with spicy tuna and eel sauce.)
Zaitoon Kitchen: Not saying this just because one of the founders is a Siena alum, but this Halal hotspot’s naan wraps and kabobs are perfection.
Mealeo: Not a restaurant, but this food delivery service based right here in Latham (that’s right next to Loudonville, for you out-of-towners)—was founded by, yep, another Siena graduate.
Salivating yet? There are lots more options to choose from in and around Loudonville, but these spots come to mind first. On your visit to Siena, make sure you swing by one for a taste of life upstate.
