Whether they're trying to hone their skills for the job hunt or practicing to impress an internship supervisor, the more than 30 Siena students who participated in the Career Center’s Speed Interviewing night gained valuable experience. They were interviewed by a variety of Capital Region employers who helped them learn about and experience different interview styles.

This year, the Siena College Symposium on Living Philosophers has been inviting professors from other colleges and universities to discuss the ideas of Kwame Anthony Appiah, Ph.D., professor of philosophy at Princeton University. Appiah, who visited campus in September, spoke about the nature of language, racial identity, political and moral relationships and philosophical methodology.

Tuskegee Airmen Focus of Niebuhr Lecture

Siena College welcomed J. Todd Moye, Ph.D. to give a presentation on his narrative history book Freedom Flyers: The Tuskegee Airmen of World War II as part of the College's annual Niebuhr Institute of Religion and Culture Lecture. The book features more than 800 oral histories.

The Siena College community is coming together to raise money for the organization Capital Region Action Against Breast Cancer, or CRAAB!, in a rather unique way. As people walk through campus, they will now notice large, pink “Recycle for the Cure Collection Cans." Tracy Boucher, one of the College’s most beloved Sodexo employees, came up with the idea of placing the large, pink recycling bins in the College's buildings in hopes of collecting and donating the money from the return of bottles and cans to CRAAB!
