general information

Effective Tuesday, October 27 at 8:00AM, we will resume limited seating, in-person dining in Lonnstrom Dining Hall and Massry Commons for those who wish to eat indoors.

In order to do this safely, each table will be marked with the maximum seating capacity and chairs will be placed to allow for physical distancing. Booths and rounds will also be clearly marked for seating and maximum capacity. Seating in each dining area will be limited to 30 minutes.

To allow us to continue with indoor dining in these locations, it is essential that chairs are not moved and that all of us adhere to the 30-minute timeframe.

Face coverings are still required except when eating while seated at tables.

Similar measures will be put in place in the Maloney Great Room to further encourage safe dining and physical distancing. Given that the Maloney Great Room is used for studying as well as dining, the 30-minute time limit will not be enforced, but all community members must wear masks once they have finished with their meal.

Take-out dining options will continue at all dining locations, to be enjoyed (weather permitting) in any of the following locations with safety protocols in place:

  • Dining tent on the Quad
  • Outdoor picnic tables
  • Lawns
  • Your room
