Academic Scholarships

The Presidential Scholarship

  • Demanding curriculum with honors and AP courses
  • Academic achievement (90+ GPA)
  • SAT critical reading and math of 1160+ or ACT score of 25+
  • Involvement in the school and community

The Franciscan Scholarship

  • Demanding curriculum
  • Academic achievement (87+ GPA)
  • SAT critical reading and math of 1120+ or ACT score of 24+
  • Involvement in the school and community

The Bishop Howard Hubbard Scholarship

(Awards are $3,000 anually.)

Awarded to students who gain admission to Siena College from the following high schools within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany:

  • Bishop Maginn High School
  • Catholic Central High School
  • Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons Middle and High School
  • Saratoga Central Catholic High School
  • The Academy of the Holy Names
  • Christian Brothers Academy
  • La Salle Institute

Saint Francis Scholarship

  • Awards up to $12,000 over four years' tuition
  • Given on top of all other aid, such as merit-based scholarships and need-based assistance
  • For families earning up to $200,000 a year
  • Applies to residents from New York and its border states (PA, NJ, CT, RI, MA, VT, ME and NH)

Need-Based Grants

Students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for Grants at Siena College. 

The Siena Grant

  • Awarded based on demonstrated financial need determined by the FAFSA, and
  • Strength of academic record

Endowed Scholarships

Through the generosity of friends, family & alumni of the College, Siena has established 275 endowed scholarships.
